This is a main menu screen. For design settings, click on the button Tablet images & colors
Here you see the first step where you can upload your logo, cover and main category image. First check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGE’ and click on the grey box to select a picture from your computer. Click save.
In Color & Theme you select the Active color and Style. The color will be shown in your menu as continue and order buttons. Click save.
Upload your house rules or introduction pages for your menu. Select the preferred language, check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGE’ and click in the grey box to select a picture from your computer. Click on add and save.
Set the default colors of all the main categories. Background color is the color, which is shown on the background above the products, text color is the color of text, which is shown above the products, and Active text color is the color of the text, which is active at the moment when you select a category. Click save.
Set the default layout for all subcategories. You can change this later in the settings of your content if you prefer only one subcategory to be a different layout. Click save.
Set the colors of the products in their text box in Product layout type. Set the default layout type, with details shown like nutrition and allergens or only with a description. After set the colors of the Details pages. Click save.
Check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGE’ and click in the grey boxes to select an image from your computer. Click save.
This is a main menu screen. Click on content to start creating your menu with categories, subcategories and products.
In the tab ‘Photos’ you have two options to select a picture. Click on ‘Choose category image’ to select one of our icons or choose ‘Upload category image’, check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGE’ and upload one of the images from your computer. Click save.
If you have already set the default colors for main category in ‘Tablet Images & Colors’ you don’t have to change anything. If you do wish to change the colors for this specific main category you set the colors here and click save.
Enter the data for the main category. Enter name and description. After you can add a translation. Click save.
Select the screen layout type for this subcategory. To show 3, 2 or 4 products in a row. Click save.
Set the data for the subcategory. Fill in the name for the subcategory, select a type, select the right tax and enter description. Click save and if necessary add the translation. Click save.
If you have already set the default colors for products in ‘Tablet Images & Colors’ you don’t have to change anything. If you do wish to change the colors for this specific main category you set the colors here and click save.
Enter the data of the product in this tab General. Enter the product name, short description, price and total time fill in 0. When you use another POS than Revelapps, you need to fill in the ID code. You can fill in optional information. Kitchen name, the name of the product how it should appear in the kitchen. Bill name, the name of the product how is should appear on the bill for the guests. Menu Addition, for the kitchen on how the prepare the dish (think of Chinese Characters etc.) Click save and add.
Select the language first. (If there are no translations needed for the picture you only have to upload it on the default language of your menu.) Check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGES’ and click in the grey box of ‘PRODUCT SMALL IMAGE’ to upload the image of the product. In case you have TMK1 version you should also upload the same picture with different dimensions in PRODUCT IMAGE. If you have the TMK2 version you upload the bigger pictures in the tab Details. Click save and add.
When a product has to show more information, like description, nutrition or allergies, check the box ‘WITH DETAILS’. You will see 4 tabs appearing.
First tab is the appearance. Here you upload the detail picture of the product. Check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGE’ click in the grey box and select the picture. If necessary change the Screen layout type. First option is with description, nutrition and allergies, second option is only with description. If you have already set the default colors for detail screen in ‘Tablet Images & Colors’ you don’t have to change anything. If you do wish to change the colors for this specific detail page you set the colors here. Click Save and add.
Here you can add the description of the product in the preferred language(s). Select the language, enter the description and if necessary change font and color. Click on ‘Add Description’ and when finished click Save and add.
Fill in the information for each nutrition. If you have a nutrition to add which is not in the list, click on ‘Add new nutrition’. Once finished click Save and add.
Select the Allergies which apply to the product. Click Save and add.
Not yet in use Tags tab.
To create new modifier click on ‘New Group’, enter the settings and click Save. To add the different option to the product, click on ‘Add modifier’ and select the product and click Save. Once finished click on Save and add.
From this main menu screen you can navigate go Promotions.
To add a promotion image, select the language, check the box ‘UPLOAD ORIGINAL SIZE OF IMAGES’ and click Add. When finished click on Save.
Enter the details of the promotion. Enter the period of the promotion and select in the left tablet in which of the subcategories the promotion needs to be visible.
You need to add and existing product from the menu as a promotion. Select the category where this product is located. Click on it and it will appear in the right table. Click save.
Click on Menu settings to set Agenda, Waiter calls, Tablet messages or schedule a task.
Here you can add the different menu’s your location has to offer. For example A La Carte menu or AYCE menu. Enter the headline, agenda type, price and if necessary the ID code. Select the right TAX and click on ‘Add Tax type’. Select the days you want to offer this menu, set the time and fill in 0 in TOTAL TIME. Fill in the minutes, rounds, bites and waiting time for the guests. After this you can select which categories you want to show in the menu. Left table is included, if you click on the names of the subcategory it will switch to the right table Excluded. When finished click Save.
Here you can change, add, delete the waiter calls. The different options which are shown on the tablet under SERVICE. Click on a waiter call and change the name in CALL TEXT, if necessary fill in the ID code and add translations. Click Save.
If desired you can change the two messages which are shown on the tablet once the guest has ordered the bill. Note: you can only change both messages, not delete or add a message from the tablet.
When you are finished with all the changes in your menu and want to see the result, set a scheduled task. If necessary set a specific date and time for when the database needs to be refreshed. If not, just click on Save and the system will automatically make a refresh of the system in some time. When it is finished you will see the end time.
